Your vision

brought to life.

Every design has a story.

A Visual Language Master, I bridge the gap between oral and optical design. I'm a front-end developer and graphic designer who values the impact of stories embedded in style; a Swiss army knife with a paintbrush and a fresh angle.
Headshot of Rachel Epps

Hey! I'm Rachel.

An artist, entrepreneur, storyteller, teacher, crowd-surfer, and problem solver in constant search of ways to grow. I have always been ten years older than my age (except for maybe my early 20's). To me, the most fascinating thing in the world is blending art + technology, which led me to pursue a B.S. in Graphic Information Technology.

Somewhere between starting my own business at 15 as a figure skating coach, teaching art classes, leading my community as Chapter President of Phi Theta Kappa, and launching a [thriving] freelance design business three years before intending to, I discovered that I have an uncontested level of grit and a wicked craving to meet the best version of myself that could ever exist. My goal as an artist is to effectively blend storytelling and design so that the translation from brand message to visual representation is meaningful and leaves a lasting impact.

Rachel Epps is an Austin-based graphic designer specialized in web design, motion graphics, and UI/UX. The prologue to her journey as a freelancer began six years ago through Upwork as a writer, working with entrepreneurial podcasts, SEO optimization, and even writing scripts for haunted tours.

Once she became a Graphic Information Technology student at Arizona State University, Rachel immediately fell in love with the fusion of art and technology. She quickly became comfortable with web design and coded 15 websites within two years. Rachel is now determined to master 3D modeling and animation as they relate to video game development and user interface design.

Rachel now designs websites for local businesses as well as business cards, logos, and newsletters. She is committed to flipping through every page of a brand’s story to effectively translate it for their audience in a visually engaging format that leaves a lasting impact.
